Strong Start to ECNL Season for Internationals SC

Two of Internationals SC’s ECNL teams were in action on September 22 (at WNY Flash) and September 23 (at Pittsburgh Riverhounds). Both teams went 2-0 on the weekend with an impressive offensive output and strong defensive effort.

The U13 ECNL team finished with a 4-1 win over the Flash. Katie Scott led the way with three goals and one assist. The U13 ECNL squad had another strong performance in a 13-2 win over the Riverhounds. It was a balanced attack with eight different goalscorers. The most notable were Eleanor Klinger with five goals and one assist and Katie Scott with two goals and one assist.

The U14 ECNL team finished with a 6-1 win over the WNY Flash and a 3-1 win over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Grace Jackson (three goals), Olivia Sipsock (one goal and one assist), Emme Butera (one goal), Kate Clute (one goal), and Eva Sunjevaric (one assist) were key contributors against the Flash. Jackson (two goals) and Sipsock (one goal) led the way against the Riverhounds.
