INTERNATIONALS SOCCER CLUB HISTORY: GIRLS/WOMEN (1990-Present)» Back to Girls/Women History Table Of Contents College Soccer Awards (1990-2007)
During the past sixteen years, our club members have been making an impact on the college scene. We have placed our players at some of the best athletic and academic institutions in the country. The majority of our players have earned athletic scholarships and some have even been awarded full-tuition scholarships. The quality of training and conditioning with the club has made them immediate assets to their respective programs. To date, we have placed 187 of our female members at 100 different schools 70 DI, 14 DII, 13 DIII, 3 NAIA) in 36 different conferences. Thirty-eight of our players have competed in the Division I NCAA National Championships - six have made it to the quarterfinalsm, five have reached the semi-finals, while three have made it to the final game and two have won a National Championship! Keri Sarver - University of Maryland, 1995-1999
The Atlantic Coast Conference celebrated it's 50th birthday during the 2002-2003 season.. Fiftieth Anniversary Teams were selected in all of the conferences sports. The teams were chosen by a Blue Ribbon Committee of media, coaches, administrators and veteran observers of the Conference.
