Club Happenings ~ July 2007
- W League: Once again this year, our club had the unique opportunity to showcase some of the best talent that has come through our club in addition to some other fantastic local and national players. The 2007 roster was an exciting blend of youth stars and veterans with international experience. The team was 8-4 on the season and narrowly missed the playoffs for the second year in a row by only 1 point!
Youth national team standout, Danesha Adams led the team with 10 goals and 4 assists and was named W-League player of the week for her 12 point performances in 2 home wins on July 5 and July 7. In addition, Amanda Cinalli was named to the All-Conference Team (Central Conference) for her solid performance at Midfield during the entire season.

Player Spotlight
Kay Young - U17/W-League
Kay was one of our top performers during the 2007 W-League season. She competed hard and was an integral part of our defense in every game. As a rising high school senior, she went toe-to-toe with some of the best college players in the country and competed like a seasoned veteran. Kay is the ultimate team player and is a leader-by-example on our U17 team.
