The ISC U15-U18/19 ECNL Regional League teams kicked off their 2020-2021 season this past weekend squaring off against Ohio Valley newcomers Kings Hammer Soccer Club and Racing Louisville.  The games were the first Ohio Valley Conference games for these teams since late 2019.

On Saturday ISC traveled to Wilder, Kentucky to face KHA.  The U15s and U17s came up against two strong opponents with both dropping their games 6-0.  The U16s found success, scoring late to get a thrilling 2-1 victory while the U18/19s won an entertaining match taking home a 4-3 win.

On Sunday ISC faced off against Racing Louisville in Cincinnati where the U15s put on an excellent performance, winning 5-0.  The U17s earned their first win of the season with a well-earned 2-1 victory while the U16s dropped their match 2-1.  Finally, the U18/19s capped their perfect weekend with a quality 2-1 win.

“It was exciting to finally see our players get on the field and play games against outside opponents," ERL Director Jared Rose commented. "We saw some strong team and individual performances and most importantly, we saw development in a lot of areas.  To earn two wins against a strong KHA club, and to turn around and win three out of four on Sunday against the well-coached Racing Louisville teams shows the strength of our program and we’re already looking forward to 2021.”
