New pre-professional team gives ISC players a new platform to compete at the highest levels. Recruiting has begun for the Summer 2025 team.

Big news for Northeast Ohio soccer. Internationals SC has officially joined the Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) and will kick off a new pre-professional team this May 2025. We're so proud to offer this platform for our athletes to compete at the highest levels – from high school, into their collegiate and post-collegiate careers.

Our full season schedule will be released next week. Home games will be played at CSU's Krenzler Field. Ticket info coming soon too.

WPSL is the largest and longest-running women's soccer league in the U.S. It launched in 1998 and currently fields 142 teams across 16 conferences. WPSL has long played a pivotal role in the U.S. women's soccer ecosystem. Notable alums include Alex Morgan, Brandi Chastain and Julie Foudy (to name a few). Read the league's announcement here.

This launch is more than a new team – it's a new opportunity for our players to continue developing their game right here in Northeast Ohio. The level of competition and talent in WPSL is exactly the caliber we want our Internationals players to experience.

Our coaching staff for this inaugural WPSL season includes Keri Sarver, Zdravko Popović, Michael Marich, Mike Payne, Javier Iriat and Dallas Boyer.
